One benefit of welcoming new artists to the borderland is they encourage long-time residents to view their surroundings from a fresh and enlightening perspective. Since relocating to El Paso in1999, Candy Mayer has concentrated on doing just that, creating a vibrant repertoire of paintings and drawings which celebrate the unique natural and cultural elements which define our corner of the desert Southwest.
