What a magnificent home we were able to feature for our cover story! Dr. Laiq and Angelica Raja treated us like family as construction was completed and they were moving into their new home. Interior designer Lynda Power and final contractor Luis Medina helped turn the photo shoots into works of art in themselves. Most of us will never have the opportunity to occupy such a house, but every segment of the home offered some innovative design idea that could be modified for a home that, well, I might even be able to consider.
This issue of Ventanas magazine includes lots of great ideas that can be incorporated into new construction or remodels. Closets, solar energy and hand-carved beams joined by pegs and slots are all part of the issue. We have also presented a broad spectrum of artwork that adds a spark to any home environment. We featured the incredible bronze of Dave McGary in Ruidoso, Las Cruces murals by Tony Pennock and did you know there’s a new gallery in El Paso? The Rose and Crown Art Gallery is an exciting addition to the borderland art scene.
We’ve touched on gardening, landscaping, an impressive condominium on the edge of Mesilla and we’ve reviewed a new state-of-the-art home resource center. Read on…you’ll absolutely love Fall Ventanas.
